One Of KDSJ's Own Named South Dakota Sportscaster Of The Year

Al Decker of KDSJ Radio in Deadwood was recently notified that he has been chosen as the South Dakota Sportscaster Of The Year by the South Dakota Sportswriters and Sportscasters Association.

He will receive this award at the National Sportswriters And Sportscasters Association Hall Of Fame Banquet in Salsbury, North Carolina in May along with all the other state and national winners.

Al also won the honor in 2003.

He has been doing South Dakota sportscasting since 1971 and has covered thousands of games and interviewed hundreds of coaches over those years.
