Kasey Stroud Named Golddigger Volleyball Coach
Lead-Deadwood High School announced they have hired Kasey Stroud as their new girl's volleyball coach replacing Loree Schlictemeier, who resigned in December.
Stroud is currently an art teacher at the high school and middle school. She coached the seventh grade volleyball team for two years before coaching the eighth grade team last year.
Stroud said she is excited to be the new Lady Golddiggers volleyball coach. "I'm really exited. I think they are a great bunch of girls. They're all very competitive and I think we'll have a good season."
Jordan Franzen, Activities Director at Lead-Deadwood High School, thinks Stroud was the right choice for the job. "We really wanted somebody that was on our staff to build the numbers up for the program again. I think Kasey is going to be somebody that is going to be a strong recruiter."
