Lead Deadwood School District
   New Golddigger Varsity Coaches

Lead Deadwood High School has announce two new varsity coaches for the fall sports season. Tom Tieszen will be the new Golddigger football coach replacing Ryan Gatch who resigned at the end of the 2014-2015 school year. Coach Tieszen brings with him plenty of football knowledge. He was a standout for the Spearfish Spartans, played for the Yellow Jackets, has been and assistant coach for both the Spearfish and Lead Deadwood programs, and now is taking over as head coach for the Golddiggers in the 2015 season.

Zach Wevik will be the new Lead Deadwood Boys Golf coach this fall, replacing Austin Travis who resigned at the end of the school year. Wevik is also the head girls basketball coach. Wevik takes over a very successful program and has plenty of dedicated boys ready to start play in August.

Lead Deadwood High School still has a Girls Golf Head Coach position open. Laurie Rogers was the coach for the past four season, she resigned at the end of the school year.
