Flags are flying at half-staff at government buildings across South Dakota in honor of the victims of the Nashville school shooting. Governor Kristi Noem has ordered that flags remain at half-staff until sunset on Friday. The move is a response to a proclamation by President Biden ordering flags at federal buildings be flown at half-staff through Friday at sunset. Three children and three adults were killed by a mass shooter at Covenant School in Nashville, a private elementary school on the grounds of Covenant Presbyterian Church in the Green Hills neighborhood.
