No Major Snow Expected Until Mid-December For South Dakota

South Dakota isn’t expected to see much snow until mid-December despite the arrival of winter temperatures. Any measurable numbers have been minimal so far. Sioux Falls has only seen half an inch and Rapid City less than that before some snow fell on Thanksgiving. Pierre has had the most, closing in on just three inches. Weather experts predict most of South Dakota may not see anything significant until the second half of next month.
