An Amazon distribution center is coming to Western South Dakota. The company broke ground on the facility in Box Elder Tuesday, January 30. The location was selected by Amazon officials because it’s straight down I-90 from Sioux Falls and also the proximity to the Black Hills. It’s expected to be completed within the next 12 months and bring more than a hundred new job opportunities.
