Rapid City’s Regional Airport now has a new direct flight option. The airline, Sun Country, made its first arrival and departure flights Monday, touting Minneapolis as a major nonstop destination. Rapid City Executive Director Patrick Dame says it will be great, not only for tourists in Rapid City, but those who want to get away to Minneapolis. Sun Country Airlines direct flights will take off on Mondays and Fridays, and each flight will hold up to one-hundred-86 passengers.
