Black Hills State triathlon has released its 2023-24 schedule, which includes four fall events and two in the spring.
Of the four spring triathlons, one will be a national qualifier before the NCAA Championships in November.
The Yellow Jackets will open the season with a pair of races close to home with the Sept. 2 Southern Hills Triathlon in Hot Springs, S.D., and the Black Hills Collegiate Cup at the Belle Fourche Reservoir on Oct. 1.
After that, the team will race in the West Regional Qualifier in Springfield, Mo. on Oct. 15.
The 2023 NCAA National Championships will take place Nov. 11 Tempe, Ariz. to wrap up the fall season.
In the spring, the Yellow Jackets will compete in the Clermont Draft Legal Challenge in Clermont, Fla. on March 2-3.
Then on April 21, BHSU will host the Black Hills Tri Fest at 7 a.m. in Spearfish to close the year.
