New changes are coming to Black Hills State University athletics.
Athletics Director Scott Larson has resigned from his post effective January 5 citing personal and family issues as reasons for departure. BHSU Women’s Basketball Head Coach Mark Nore will step in as the interim director of athletics and continue to coach through the remainder of the 2023-24 season.
Nore is the all-time wins leader in Black Hills State women’s basketball history since taking over the program during the 2002-03 season. He received his bachelor’s degree in physical education and special education from BHSU in 1999.
Nore also earned his master’s degree in science with an emphasis in physical education at Southwest Minnesota State in 2002.
