The Black Hills State University Music Department has announced its 2024 spring concert schedule, featuring a series of performances that are free and open to the public. The events will take place in Meier Hall unless otherwise specified.
The semester’s events will commence with a Spring Band Concert on Mar. 2 at 7 p.m. The schedule will continue with the BHSU Choral Festival on Mar. 25.
April will feature several student recitals, starting with the Paul Carriveau Senior Recital on Apr. 4 at 7 p.m., followed by the Margaret O’Malley Senior Recital on Apr. 12 at 7 p.m., and the Allison Olson Senior Recital on Apr. 13 at 7 p.m. The month will also include a Choir Concert on Apr. 14 at 2 p.m., a Jazz Concert on Apr. 20 at 7 p.m., and a Spring Band Concert on Apr. 21 at 7 p.m. The spring performances will conclude on Apr. 27 with the Spring Music Festival at 10 a.m. on the campus green, followed by an Orchestra Concert at 5 p.m.
