On Wednesday, East Colorado Boulevard from Rainbow Road to US Highway 85 will be closed.
This closure is necessary for the contractor to unload and place the new Elkhorn Ridge sanitary sewer lift station located near the intersection of Colorado Loop and Colorado Blvd. The closure is scheduled to be in place all day on Wednesday and may continue during the day on Thursday. The duration of the closure is not anticipated to go any later than the end of the day on Thursday April 4, 2024.
During this closure, all thru traffic will be diverted to utilize the detour on Rainbow Road and Centennial Road connecting Colorado Boulevard to Highway 85. Traffic will be able to access the Sky Ridge Housing Development via Colorado Boulevard from Rainbow Road east to Aurora Avenue and Sky Ridge Avenue. The road will be fully closed from Sky Ridge Avenue to Highway 85, and thru traffic will be required to take the Centennial Road detour.
