Spearfish couldn’t flip the script from last December’s meeting with Aberdeen Central, taking another tough loss to the Golden Eagles on Friday. The Spartans struggled to find rhythm offensively and came up short in a 52–36 defeat.
The setback drops Spearfish to 1–1 on the season, while Aberdeen Central continues its early‑season surge, improving to 3–0 and extending its winning streak to three games.
Both squads return to action with minimal rest. Spearfish meets Pierre T.F. Riggs today at 2:00 p.m. in Spearfish, while Aberdeen Central travels to Sturgis to square off with the Lady Scoopers at 1:30 p.m.
