Strong production from the bottom of the lineup powered the Stevens Raiders to an 11–1 (6 innings) victory over Spearfish on Monday at McKeague Field.
Ty Vallette, Mason Knutson, and Karter Brager combined for four of Stevens’ eight hits, scoring four runs and driving in four. The Raiders struck early, taking a 1–0 lead in the first inning on a bases‑loaded walk drawn by Isaac Robinson. Austin Flohr added an RBI single in the second, and Brager drove in two more with a single to right in the third.
Stevens broke the game open with a five‑run fourth inning, highlighted by RBI hits from Knutson and Flohr, along with a sacrifice fly from Brady Waddell.
Aidan Jacobs earned the win, allowing two hits and an unearned run over three innings while striking out six. Conor Konvalin closed out the game with three scoreless innings of relief.
Knutson, Flohr and Brager each finished with two hits, while Flohr and Brager drove in three runs apiece. The Raiders showed patience at the plate, drawing 11 walks.
Spearfish managed two hits, with Tucker Olson driving in the Spartans’ lone run.
Stevens returns to action Wednesday at home against the Gillette Riders. Spearfish travels to Gillette on Tuesday.
