The search continues today for a missing Black Hawk man, as authorities bring in additional resources.
The Meade County Sheriff’s Office says twenty-three-year-old Jonah Temple was reported missing by family members after they had not heard from him for about three days.
Investigators say his vehicle was found Monday on Forest Service land at the far west end of Peaceful Pines Road. Since then, crews have launched an extensive search operation in that area.
Multiple agencies are assisting in the effort. On Monday, Black Hills Life Flight provided aerial support, conducting flyovers to aid in the search.
Anyone who has had contact with Jonah Temple or may have information about his whereabouts is asked to contact the Meade County Sheriff’s Office at 605-347-2681.
Authorities say there is no known threat to public safety at this time. However, the public is urged to avoid the search area so crews can continue their work safely and efficiently.
