One person is recovering after a garage fire in Rapid City on Wednesday afternoon.
Fire crews were called to a home on Range View Court just after 4 p.m., where they found light smoke coming from an attached garage. Bystanders told responders everyone had made it out safely, and firefighters quickly located and contained the fire, preventing it from spreading into the rest of the home. One individual was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Officials say the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
