As this year’s Sturgis Motorcycle Rally winds down, businesses across the Black Hills are reporting strong sales and steady customer traffic.
Retailers, restaurants, hotels and other businesses say the annual rally once again provided a major economic boost to the region.
Lodging operators are already looking ahead to next year. Sturgis Motel owner Rhonda Brown says reservations for the 2027 rally are already being booked, with the first week filling up quickly.
Business owners say the rally remains one of the most important economic events of the year for the Black Hills, and early demand suggests strong interest in next year’s event.
