Sturgis Police say arrests, citations, and parking violations were down during the 2026 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, but calls for service and jail bookings increased.
Final rally statistics show officers recorded 482 arrests, citations, and parking violations, compared to 538 during last year’s event.
Drug-related offenses remained a significant focus, with misdemeanor drug arrests increasing to 75, while felony drug arrests held steady at 47. Underage alcohol arrests also rose sharply, from seven last year to 17 this year.
Meanwhile, DUI arrests dropped from 58 to 37, and illegal parking violations declined as well.
Police responded to more calls for service than last year, and the number of people booked into jail increased from 122 to 128.
Officials say the busiest day of the rally saw 86 arrests, citations, and parking violations, while the slowest day recorded 34.
