Harley-Davidson is celebrating a record-breaking year at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.
The company announced that it sold an all-time high of 1,135 motorcycles during this year’s rally across its Black Hills locations, setting a new sales and inventory record for the event.
General Manager Mike Maloney says Harley-Davidson’s ties to the Sturgis Rally run deep, noting that the brand has long been known as the official motorcycle of the rally.
While riders arrive in Sturgis on many different makes and models, Maloney says Harley-Davidson remains the most common sight on the region’s highways during rally week.
The 2026 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally concluded this past weekend after drawing hundreds of thousands of riders and visitors to western South Dakota.
