SPEARFISH, S.D. – Veterans and active-duty military members will have two opportunities this fall to receive free dental care in western South Dakota.
Orchard Meadows Family Dental and Denture Clinic is participating in the national Freedom Day USA program, offering free dental services on October 5 in Spearfish and November 6 in Rapid City.
Eligible participants can receive one free extraction, filling, or preventive care visit. Appointments are required.
Clinic owner and lead dentist Dr. Mark Garner, a U.S. Air Force veteran, says the program is designed to give back to fellow service members and help address dental health needs.
Veterans and active-duty military members must provide a military ID or DD-214 form at their appointment.
