DEADWOOD, S.D. – Thousands of music fans filled the streets of Deadwood this weekend as the community celebrated the 36th annual Deadwood Jam.
The festival featured a wide range of musical acts, with country artist Ian Munsick headlining Friday night and blues-rock guitarist Kenny Wayne Shepherd taking the stage Saturday evening. Organizers say strong attendance and favorable weather helped make for another successful year.
Live music began Saturday at noon and included performances from regional and national artists spanning country, rock, blues, funk and more.
Event organizers say the Deadwood Jam has become a longtime tradition that brings together music lovers from across the region while showcasing a variety of genres for all tastes.
In addition to the concerts, festivalgoers enjoyed food, beverages, and exclusive anniversary merchandise as Deadwood celebrated 36 years of one of the Black Hills’ signature music events.
