COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) announced this week four women’s soccer players of the week, which highlighted Black Hills State freshman midfielder, Ivy Agee, as the RMAC Offensive Player of the Week. Through just seven collegiate matches, Agee has stepped in and provided an offensive spark for the Yellow Jackets, already holding the school’s single season goals record and currently ranks as the top goal scorer in the RMAC. Prior to this season, the BHSU women’s soccer program had only two players recognized as an RMAC Player of the Week and have already had two this year in just the past three weeks of action.

- Agee continued to spearhead the Black Hills State offensive attack as the Yellow Jackets opened RMAC play 2-0 with victories over New Mexico Highlands (4-0) and Adams State (3-1), while the team also is one of just two unbeaten teams overall remaining in the league at 5-0-2 as they recorded their school record fifth win of the year against ASU.
- She continues to pour on to her current single season goals school record with another three goals this weekend on eight shot attempts and four shots on target.
- She brought her season total to an RMAC leading nine goals and also ranks second nationally in the stat category.
- She notched the game-winner against New Mexico Highlands, scoring from midfield directly off the opening kickoff as she recorded the second-fastest goal in NCAA Division II women’s soccer history at just five seconds into the match. She later added a second goal against the Cowgirls in the 57th minute for her third multi-goal game of the season.
- She extended her streak of games with a goal to five against Adams State, scoring the third and final goal of the match for the Yellow Jackets in the 51st minute as she found space to attack and work her way through the defense before firing a strike from 25 yards out into the upper left corner of the net.
