WASHINGTON, D.C. – Former South Dakota Governor and current Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem has filed for divorce from her husband, Bryon Noem.
Court documents show the filing was made September 28 in Hamlin County and cites irreconcilable differences as the reason for the divorce.
The Noems have been married since 1992 and have been one of South Dakota’s most prominent political couples during Kristi Noem’s time in Congress, as governor, and in her current federal role.
