BELLE FOURCHE, S.D. — The Belle Fourche Broncs are in the win column.
After struggling through the first half of the season, the Broncs delivered their best performance of the year Friday night, rolling to a 46-0 shutout victory over Douglas.
Belle Fourche’s offense erupted for a season-high 46 points, a dramatic turnaround from last week’s loss to Vermillion. The Broncs controlled the game from start to finish and never allowed the Patriots to gain momentum.
The victory improves Belle Fourche’s record to 1-5 and gives the program its first win of the 2026 season. It also snaps a six-game losing streak dating back to last year.
Douglas fell to 1-5 with the loss and has now dropped 14 of its last 15 games dating back to the 2025 season.
The Broncs will look to build on the momentum Friday when they host Rapid City Christian, while Douglas travels to Hot Springs for another Black Hills Conference matchup.
For Belle Fourche, Friday night’s dominant performance provided a much-needed boost and a reason to celebrate as the Broncs finally broke through for their first victory of the year.
