HOT SPRINGS, S.D. – The Fall River County Sheriff’s Office says a woman who had been reported missing has been found deceased.
Authorities confirmed Sunday that 39-year-old Kelsie Bryant was located on Saturday, October 24. Investigators say there are currently no indications of foul play, though the case remains under investigation. No additional details are being released at this time.
Officials said the announcement was delayed to allow Bryant’s family to be properly notified. In a statement, the sheriff’s office extended condolences to Bryant’s family and thanked law enforcement agencies, search volunteers, and community members who assisted in the effort to locate her.
Bryant had been reported missing after she was last seen on October 19 near the intersection of Albany Avenue and South Chicago Street in Hot Springs. According to authorities, she parked her vehicle near a business and was seen walking south. Investigators had asked the public to review security camera footage and share any information that might help in the search.
The investigation into Bryant’s death remains ongoing.
