WYOMING – Wyoming families will have another opportunity this week to apply for the state’s Education Savings Account program, with 89 spots still available for the 2026-27 school year.
The Wyoming Department of Education will accept applications from 9 a.m. Tuesday through 9 p.m. Thursday. Available spots will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
The program provides eligible students with up to $7,000 annually for approved educational expenses, including private school tuition, tutoring, curriculum materials and extracurricular activities.
To qualify, students must be Wyoming residents and cannot be enrolled in a public school. Additional age and income requirements apply for prekindergarten students, while K-12 students must meet age eligibility guidelines.
State officials are encouraging families to have residency and age documentation ready and to verify their online parent portal accounts before submitting an application. Families with children already enrolled in the program may receive priority consideration for siblings if additional paperwork is completed on time.
Applications will be reviewed through mid-November, with families selected for the program expected to be notified beginning November 16. Funding for newly approved accounts is scheduled to begin in December.
