More than 11,000 votes were cast, resulting in voter turnout of 47.26 percent. Davies received the highest vote total, followed by Jennings and Haiwick, while independent candidate Michaela Madrid finished fourth.
Jennings thanked voters for their confidence and pledged to continue making objective decisions for the county. Davies said he plans to focus on public engagement, government transparency, and issues including land use, water, and the environment. The newly elected commissioners are expected to be sworn in at the first commission meeting of 2027.
