The Wyoming Department of Transportation will resume work next week on a major roadway repair project aimed at stabilizing a four‑mile stretch of eastbound highway affected by slope issues.
Starting the week of March 30, crews will remove two bridges, replace them with box culverts, repair aging drainage systems, and resurface portions of the roadway.
During construction, all eastbound traffic will shift onto the westbound lanes, creating head‑to‑head traffic. Drivers should expect reduced speeds and heavy truck traffic in the work zone.
WYDOT is urging motorists to slow down, follow posted signs, and maintain a safe distance from other vehicles as work continues.
