After an exciting 2025-2026 season, the Spearfish Spartans boys basketball program earned major recognition this week, as all five starters were honored in the Black Hills Conference All‑Conference teams release.
Juniors Mason Southern, Kamren Davis, and Kade Vavruska were each voted First‑Team All‑Conference, giving Spearfish one of the largest first‑team representations in the league. Seniors Bennett Kortan and Cooper Gibbs were selected as Honorable Mentions, rounding out a complete sweep of postseason awards for the Spartans’ starting lineup.
The honors cap a strong 15–6 season for Spearfish under head coach Ben Schultz, a campaign that included an 8–4 class record and a #8 finish in the Class AA regular season.
