Rapid City Police are searching for a suspect after an early‑morning robbery on Jackson Boulevard. Officers were called around 1:35 a.m. on April 20th to a business at 2110 Jackson Boulevard, where an employee reported that a man demanded money using a note and appeared to imply he had a handgun hidden in his sweatshirt pocket. The suspect left with cash and took off on foot heading north.
He’s described as a Native American man, about 20 to 35 years old, wearing a light blue hoodie, jeans, a blue bandana, a large chain necklace, and carrying a black backpack.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact Detective Brendan Lenard at 605‑394‑4134, or send an anonymous tip by texting “RCPD” to 847411.
