Three Care Campus employees received the Medal for Meritorious Service: Detox Supervisor Nicole Williams, Transport Officer Bryson Schwartz, and Detox Technician Lucas Neuhardt. Officials say Williams heard abnormal breathing from a female client and found her turning gray. Schwartz and Neuhardt immediately performed two‑person CPR, saving the woman’s life before paramedics arrived.
Sheriff Mueller was also honored for 30 years with the department. He says he feels grateful to serve alongside the men and women of the sheriff’s office and the community.
Leaders say the awards highlight the teamwork required to keep people safe — both on the streets and inside the Care Campus.
