Firefighters in Deadwood responded to the same house fire twice on Saturday after the blaze reignited several hours later.
Crews were first called to a home along U.S. Highway 14A around 6:30 am Saturday morning and found the structure fully engulfed in flames. Fire departments from neighboring communities were called in to help contain the fire and prevent it from spreading to a nearby hay field.
Firefighters remained on scene for about two hours before clearing the area. But at approximately 10:15 a.m., crews were dispatched back to the same address after the fire reignited.
No injuries were reported in either incident. Authorities are continuing to investigate the cause of the fire.
