Rapid City Police have identified the woman found deceased Monday morning as 28-year-old Amanda Hart of Rapid City.
Officers were dispatched at approximately 6:30 a.m. on July 20 to 1400 Campbell Street following a report of an unresponsive female. Upon arrival, police located Hart and determined she was deceased.
As part of the ongoing investigation, an autopsy has been completed. According to investigators, the examination found no indications of trauma or other injuries that would have contributed to her death. Authorities are now awaiting toxicology results in an effort to determine the cause of death.
The death remains under investigation.
