Rapid City Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred early Friday morning at the Circle K convenience store on Caregiver Circle.
Officers were dispatched to the store shortly after 4 a.m. after an employee reported that two unidentified men entered the business, grabbed packages of alcoholic beverages, and ran toward the exit.
Police say one suspect left the store, but when the employee confronted the second suspect, the man allegedly pulled out a handgun and pointed it at the employee before fleeing.
The two suspects were then seen getting into a light-colored sedan, which left the area before officers arrived.
No injuries were reported during the incident.
