Rapid City Police are investigating the death of a man found unresponsive Sunday evening near the intersection of West Boulevard and Saint Charles Street.
Officers were dispatched to the area shortly after 8 p.m. after receiving a report of a male subject lying in the grass. When police arrived, they determined the man was deceased.
Authorities say there were no obvious signs of trauma or indications of foul play at the scene.
An autopsy has been scheduled to determine the man’s cause of death, and the investigation remains ongoing.
Police have not yet released the identity of the deceased individual.
