Six men have been arrested following an undercover child exploitation operation conducted during the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.
The South Dakota Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force says investigators posed as minors and as traffickers offering children for prostitution through online ads and social media.
Those arrested were Johan Vazquez-Garza, 33, of Rapid City; Bo Bo Aung, 38, of Box Elder; Adrian Tomas Randles, 39, of Rapid City; Steven Clay Brown, 62, of Sturgis; Kevin Orlanda Tassion Brown, 30, of Dillon, South Carolina; and Jay Anderson, 39, of Hot Springs.
Charges include solicitation of a minor, human trafficking, attempted human trafficking, and attempted rape.
The operation involved local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies, including the Division of Criminal Investigation, Homeland Security Investigations, the U.S. Marshals Service, and several Black Hills law enforcement agencies.
Officials say this was the 14th consecutive year of the Sturgis Rally operation, which has resulted in about 104 arrests since its inception.
All six men are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
