RAPID CITY, S.D. – The Sturgis City Council has approved annual renewals for the city’s on-sale liquor and on-off sale wine and cider licenses, with the exception of Dollar General, which had not yet submitted its application for 2027.
City officials say the renewals generate about $23,000 in annual licensing fees. The council also approved license renewals for three medical marijuana-related businesses, including Puffy’s Medical Cannabis Dispensary, Northern Hills Alternative Health, and cultivation facility Pitbull Acres LLC.
Officials reported no complaints from code enforcement or law enforcement involving any of the licensed establishments.
